“For Her Ears Only: Philly Edition”

A limited edition art closet activation celebrating Black women musical artists from Philadelphia. This activation includes pieces that were curated, designed, and written by Shauna Moon. The main piece was a wearable art news tee highlighting artists Jill Scott, Tierra Whack, and Ethel Waters. Each of these designated tees had profile pieces of each artists, their life story, and their musical journey.

The medium was a space that included sculptures of artists made from foam, form tube, and newspapers, a custom art closet made of plywood covered in newspaper, art made from wire hangers, cardboard boxes covered in newspaper, mixed media art converted into stickers, wearable cotton news tees, custom broadsheet newspapers, and custom craft soda beverages.
