Philadelphia Contribution to Hard Bop

I will create an narra-musical which is an analytical and musical breakdown analysis of Philadelphia's contribution to hard bop jazz . The original compositions of Benny Golson, Hank Mobley and Bootsie Barnes will be performed by Warren Oree and the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble. The bebop music of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie will be compared to hard bop to demonstrate the next stage of jazz development.
