“Love Musiq”

This project draws inspiration from the influential R&B artist Musiq Soulchild, a key figure in Philadelphia's soul music scene during the early 2000s. The project's theme revolves around black love, romanticizing our upbringing in urban culture, and the influences and inspiration that make being black significant. Inspired by his impact, each album embodies Jerel's interpretation of the songs, presenting visual-story albums that reflect the influence of the music.
